Extended Care Program
Extended Care Program Policies
The Extended Care Program is a Department of San Carlos School. It is designed to support and supplement the family by providing quality care that promotes students' physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development through nurturing staff members in a planned environment.
The Extended Care Program is open from 7:00–7:45 a.m. and 3:00–5:30 p.m. each day. It provides professional care, supervision, recreation, and enrichment activities for families who desire both Catholic school education and supplementary care in a Christian environment.
Activities are planned to complement the school's and family's philosophy and value systems. The program strives to provide individual attention, security, consistency, and fair treatment for everyone enrolled. The Extended Care Program is available to all students but does require separate registration.
Extended Care Fees
Families who plan to use the program regularly must pay the fees based on the Extended Care Fee Schedule unless they choose to make a one-time payment for the entire amount when registering. Every family that uses the Extended Care Program, whether regularly or one-time only, must pay a non-refundable registration fee. The cost of extended care is included in the enrollment packet.
