Absence Protocol
If your child will be absent from school, please send an email to attendance@sancarlosschool.org and cc: the child's homeroom teacher OR call (831)375-1324
Please include the following information:
First & Last Name of Student(s)
Grade
Date and reason for absence
If picking up early for an appointment, please specify the pick-up time and whether they will be returning to school. If picking up within the last hour of school, call the office and pick up at least 30 minutes prior to dismissal to ensure your student is ready.
Absences due to illness that are 3 or more days require a doctor's note upon return.
For NON-SICK extended planned absences of 3 days or more, please complete the Extended Absence Request Form one (1) week prior to absence. All missed work must be completed in accordance with the Student Handbook timeframes.
